Theodore[1] "Ted" Bonnicksen (27 June 1917 - October 1972) was an American animator. He is most famous for his work at the Walt Disney Studios, where he worked as an animator on Donald Duck animations, and Warner Bros. Cartoons, DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, and Filmation, where he animated various Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies.
He was originally assigned to Friz Freleng's unit after the Warner Bros. cartoon studio reopened in 1954, but would later be reassigned to Robert McKimson's unit after Freleng dropped him from his unit. He would serve as one of McKimson's key animators following the disbandment of McKimson's original crew in 1953, and he would continue to animate the theatrical cartoons until the Warner Bros.-Seven Arts studio shutdown. He also co-directed the 1963 cartoon "Fast Buck Duck" with McKimson.
He passed away in 1972, during the making of his last animation role, Fritz the Cat.
