The Big Game XXVII: Sylvester vs. Tweety was a four-hour TV special that aired on Cartoon Network on 30 January 1999. It was the second installment in the "Big Game" series of marathon specials parodying the Super Bowl, and the first one to focus on Looney Tunes characters (the first such special, which aired in 1998, spotlighted Tom and Jerry).
The majority of the marathon was taken up by a three-hour pregame show featuring analysis by HBO's Inside the NFL hosts Jerry Glanville, Nick Buoniconti, and Len Dawson. Harry Kalas also provided narration for certain segments. Eighteen Looney Tunes shorts featuring Sylvester and Tweety were interspersed throughout the pregame show.
The game itself, which made up the last hour of the special, used clips from the cartoons "Bad Ol' Putty Tat" (for the first half) and "Tweety's S.O.S." (for the second half), with play-by-play and color commentary from Pat Summerall and John Madden. In addition, a clip of the titular song from "I Love to Singa" was used as the halftime show. The game ends with Tweety winning 57 to 3.
