The Draft Horse is a 1942 Merrie Melodies short directed by Chuck Jones.

Plot

A farmer's horse attempts to enlist in the U.S. Army, but he is rejected when he flunks the physical, despite his strong attitude about it. Dejected, he finds himself in a phony battlefield which teaches him what war is really like and decides to knit sweaters as a way to help fighting soldiers overseas.
