The Drew Carey Show is an American live-action television series that aired on American Broadcasting Company from 1995 to 2004.
An animated Daffy Duck, voiced by Joe Alaskey[1], makes an extended cameo appearance in the opening of the episode "My Best Friend's Wedding" that first aired on May 20, 1998.[2]
Daffy walks into the office and asks Drew Carey for a job interview. Drew declines because he is a duck, causing Daffy to rant that he is being discriminated. Daffy shows off his qualifications (including a BLT, TNT, and TLC). Drew demands that Daffy leave the premises. Daffy jumps around and falls in love with Drew's coworker Mimi Bobeck. He kisses her on the lips and is promptly slapped by her, causing his beak to spin around.
Daffy begs Drew for a job. Daffy says that it is duck season; Drew says it is rabbit season. Daffy melodramatically leaves, but says that someone wants to see Drew. Drew walks into the room, only to find that it is loaded with explosives. Drew walks out of the room covered with soot and his glasses break. He concludes by saying "And that's why we don't hire ducks." The automatic sweeper from "House Hunting Mice" appears and sweeps up the broken glass.
