Notes

• The European release of The Essential Daffy Duck has Disc 2 and four shorts ("Daffy Duck & Egghead", "Plane Daffy", "Nasty Quacks" and "My Little Duckaroo") removed.
• Unlike its sister DVD set The Essential Bugs Bunny, this DVD contained some new-to-DVD cartoons, most notably "Porky's Duck Hunt".
• "Deduce, You Say", unlike its previous DVD release in 2003, uses a newly remastered print. The newly restored print was later used in the Blu-ray and DVD release of Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 2 in 2012.
• The remastered version of "Superior Duck" is the cut version, removing the scene when the narrator screws up on the introduction to Superior Duck. This version would later see releases on future Looney Tunes physical releases (except for the 2009 Daffy Duck's Quackbusters DVD when it was released on double or four pack Looney Tunes DVDs, as it uses the unrestored and uncut version), the Boomerang app, and HBO Max.
