Tregoweth Edmond "Treg" Brown (4 November 1899 - 28 April 1984) was a sound editor responsible for the sound effects in many Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons.
In addition to creating many unique sound effects, Brown also frequently borrowed effects from the sound library Warner Bros. Pictures used for their live-action movies.
He won the 1965 Academy Award for Sound Effects for his work on the film The Great Race, where many of his Looney Tunes sound effects were used to great effect. His sound effects are sometimes used posthumously in subsequent Warner Bros. Animation projects, even non-Looney Tunes projects.
