Volney Leroy White (20 May 1907 - 23 December 1966) was an animator at Warner Bros.
Career[]
White began his career working as a supervisor at Romer Grey Pictures in 1930.[2] In the mid-30s, White moved to Leon Schlesinger Productions, briefly animating for Frank Tashlin, Ben Hardaway, and Cal Dalton. White would then travel to multiple other studios; in late 1938, White moved to the Fleischer studio in Miami[3], and would later move again to Paul Terry's Terrytoons studio.
In 1959, White set up the Volney Productions studio, where he attempted to create his own series of cartoons.[4]
